Born in Chicago, but raised in San Jose, Leslie began programming in basic at age six and she hasn't stopped yet. After five years of producing television and film, Leslie's first web site was for Walt Disney Pictures "Toy Story." She won a Finalist Award for New Media Invision Best Webmaster of the Year along with numerous other awards for the site itself, which featured the first shockwave game on the web. Five years and hundreds of sites later, she moved on and worked as a web consultant for companies including Tickets.com, Marvel, Flemings Steakhouse and Sony. She returned to Disney in 2009 and is excited to be working on content for the Preschool audience for Disney.com.
She opened her first internet technology company in 1996, and continued to produce all of Walt Disney Pictures, Hollywood Pictures, and Touchstone Pictures Official Film web sites from 1995 to 1999, first as a freelancer and then as an employee of the Walt Disney Company. In her more than 15 years of experience as an internet industry professional, Leslie has continually worked at the bleeding edge of new technologies, developing full-solution ecommerce databases, 360-degree photo-realistic immersive experiences, 3D worlds, online games of all kinds, live events, and much, much, more.
In 2000, Leslie began teaching Multimedia, Editing and Visual Effects classes for UCLA Extension's Arts and Entertainment Division.
